The Palais de Tokyo in Paris is a dynamic center for contemporary art, celebrated for its experimental spirit and raw use of space. It hosts cutting-edge exhibitions, performances, and installations, offering an ever-evolving space where artists and visitors engage with bold, innovative expressions of modern creativity. Housed in a beautiful Art Nouveau building adjacent the Seine, the Palais de Tokyo embraces it’s elegant, historical, exterior while contrasting the interior with raw stripped down spaces filled with experimental works of art.

DESCRIPTION:

Both the art and architecture here are worth the visit, but there is another reason to find yourself at the Palais de Tokyo. Fashion designer Rick Owens, with few exceptions uses the space for his runway shows 4 times a year. These are invite only events but there are ways to catch a peak of the show from nearby public spaces during the warm months as they are typically help outside. Many of the images in the preview are captured from the Rick Owens shows.
